Guns & Notes throws shooting and rhythm into the same chaotic mix. You pick up a gun, blast through waves of enemies, and sync your fire to the beat of whatever music you want to play. The game comes with built in tracks spanning different genres but you can also load your own tunes. Single player focus keeps it tight as you juggle timing and accuracy. The standout is how deeply you can customize the soundtrack. Community leaderboards track high scores across different music styles letting you compete with others using the same tracks. Launched in 2018 it still has a small but active player base with regular updates adding new weapons and challenges. PC only but the arcade vibe works well with keyboard and mouse controls.
