About

Hamepane Tokyo Mew Mew is a puzzle game built around matching and clearing colored tiles to retrieve scattered memory chips. Players guide the cast of the anime through grid-based challenges, using power-ups and strategic swaps to meet level goals before time runs out. The objective is straightforward, outpace the antagonist Quiche by solving puzzles quickly, but the execution leans on tight controls and escalating difficulty that mixes in special tiles and shifting layouts. This GBA release stands out as a direct tie-in to the Tokyo Mew Mew anime, offering a gameplay loop that’s simple yet addictive for fans familiar with the series. While it lacks the polish of later puzzle titles, its recognizable characters and brisk pacing kept it a niche favorite among anime enthusiasts. The game’s 2002 release date and Japanese-exclusive publishing make it a rare find for collectors, with community discussions noting its charm as a short but punchy challenge.

If we don't collect the memory chips faster than Quiche, Aoyama-kun... no, our secret identities will be revealed to everyone!? I can't imagine such a thing!
