You play as Nixon, a cyborg assassin in a retro-futuristic Los Angeles who believes he's a tax collector. The game drops you into chaotic missions where you pilot a hovercar through urban chaos. Each of the five levels tasks you with destroying enemies, vehicles and defenses while navigating destructible environments and facing off against unique bosses. The fast-paced action blends driving and shooting with a focus on explosive set pieces and relentless combat. Based on a 90s comic by Frank Miller and Geof Darrow the game leans into gritty cyberpunk visuals and a story where memory manipulation adds layers of mystery. The PlayStation port holds up for its aggressive pacing and detailed level design. While not widely remembered today it has a cult following among retro action fans.
