Harm Other puts you in the shoes of an intergalactic contractor who must answer every life question with a simple choice. You face a screen with two giant buttons labeled Harm and Other, and that is your only input method for the entire adventure. The story follows your character as they navigate a future where no decision gets a real explanation, just a binary selection that drives the plot forward. Each path you take leads to a different chapter, forcing you to replay the game multiple times to see how the system handles your random choices. The developer Dennis Farrell created this text simulator to mock corporate bureaucracy and absurdity through its limited mechanics. Players often find themselves stuck on branches because the labels offer no actual guidance on what will happen next. Since there are at least two major forks in every chapter, you need to run the game four times to uncover all the unfair endings available in the script. This setup creates a comedy of errors where your lack of information becomes the main joke rather than the gameplay itself.

Storyline

"In the far flung future the response to every decision in life - no matter how enormous or insignificant - is a formal choice between Harm and Other. As a DropCo Intergalactic Independent Contractor you are uniquely trained to make such decisions in an official capacity by pressing a pair of brightly colored buttons. Often with very little information. Always with zero clue as to what Harm or Other could possibly mean in the current context. In exchange for your extraordinary talents you earn nearly half of a living wage. Since the result of every choice is unique and each chapter contains at least one major branching path, you will be able to play the game four times before encountering every unfair and ridiculous outcome."
