About

Heart Fragment by Starfield Gaming is a choice-driven RPG blending simulation and visual novel elements. You play as Xani, a character grappling with grief and identity after her mother’s death. A series of strange events, mysterious injuries, vanishing friends, and cryptic strangers, forces you to confront whether you’re truly human. Progress by navigating dialogue options, solving environmental puzzles, and gathering fragments that unlock story paths. The game emphasizes emotional decision-making, with branching narratives that shift based on relationships and moral dilemmas. Players highlight its layered storytelling and over 20 distinct endings shaped by small choices. The narrative’s psychological themes and character dynamics create moments of genuine tension, balanced with introspective downtime. Running on PC, Linux, and Mac since July 2021, it appeals to fans of narrative depth and branching scenarios. With minimal combat and a focus on dialogue, it prioritizes emotional engagement over action. Customizable names and relationship paths add replayability, though the default protagonist name is Xani.
