Heli Attack

In Heli Attack you control a machine gun mounted on the bottom of the screen firing at waves of enemy helicopters. Your goal is to shoot as many as possible before your health runs out. Each kill adds to your score but the game ends abruptly when health depletes. The setup is barebones no respawns no powerups just constant firing in a static environment. This 2001 browser game sticks to basics with no music or effects beyond the startup logo. Its simplicity makes it a quick reflex tester though the lack of progression or variety means replay value hinges on personal high scores. Players note the stark contrast between this and later entries in the series which added more mechanics and polish.
