High School Musical: Sing It! lets you play along to the songs from the Disney movies with a karaoke-style twist. Pick a character and use a microphone to sing along to tracks like We’re All in This Together and What Time Is It. The game has two main modes: one where you follow the story of the movies by performing songs in order and another where you battle friends in split screen. You can sing solos or duets with options for backdrops and character choices. This 2007 release was one of the first Wii games to use a dedicated microphone. It includes around 30 songs from High School Musical and other Disney Channel shows. The motion-captured dance moves let you mimic the original routines while singing. Available on PlayStation 2 and Wii it leans into the early 2000s trend of music games but ties directly to the High School Musical movies.
