Highland Spirit is a single-player adventure game set in the Scottish Highlands. You play as Becky Speed, a writer trying to overcome her block by retreating to a quiet cottage. But her peace is short-lived. Strange noises, flickering lights, and a growing sense of dread hint that something, or someone, is lurking nearby. Exploration and environmental clues drive the story as you uncover the cottage’s hidden past and the forces keeping Becky trapped there. The game leans into its eerie atmosphere with careful pacing and environmental storytelling. Players explore the surroundings, gather clues, and piece together what happened to the cottage’s previous occupant. While the plot takes a while to build momentum, the isolated setting and unsettling moments create a tense experience.
