Hive P v. S is a high-speed arcade game where you pilot a spaceship through a star-strewn universe. Each star you collect triggers the arrival of a new pursuer, building a chain of entities that trail your ship. The longer you survive, the more these ghosts multiply, forcing you to weave through tight spaces and plan ahead. Power-ups let you clear obstacles or boost your score, adding strategic depth to the frantic action. The tension escalates rapidly as your path narrows with each new link in the tail. Players often hit surprising milestones before a single misstep ends the run. With cross-platform play on PC, Mac, and mobile devices, the game’s simple controls make it easy to pick up but tough to master. Developer Jens Nilsson keeps the design minimal, but the mix of reflexes and planning creates a surprisingly addictive loop that works well in short bursts or longer sessions.
