In Home Sweet Home: Survive, one player controls the Specter while four others play survivors trapped in a deadly arena. The Specter uses distinct abilities to track and eliminate survivors without getting turned. Survivors work together to finish rituals, but once that’s done the real tension kicks in: stick together to fight back or bolt for freedom and leave teammates behind. Each role has tailored skills and stats, shifting the balance of power based on choices and chaos. The game leans into tough decisions and shifting alliances, with outcomes hinging on trust and betrayal. Released in 2021, it runs on PC with co-op and multiplayer modes. Players often note how the post-ritual dilemma raises the stakes, turning matches into unpredictable scrambles. Simple mechanics hide deep strategic layers, especially as Specter and survivor roles adapt to different playstyles.

Storyline

Hindrance is a dimension between the world of the living and the world of death. People who entered the Hindrance were either their lives were hanged between life and death or were deceived by dark occult users. Skillful invokers usually used this opportunity to take people's souls. Controlling Specters in their command, they killed people who lost in the Hindrance and collected their souls. A bunch of survivors was dragged into the Hindrance, and it is now a survival game. Join the survivors and overcome the invoker’s puppet or return to the realm of the living by escaping the Hindrance, or be the Specter and hunt and collect souls.
