"If you've been following my last few reviews, you know that I've had a run of games I wasn't crazy about. I had to actively avoid the urge to rate a game highly, even if it didn't deserve it - to prove to the universe I'm not just some sour bastard devouring free games and pooping out bad reviews. That said, I'm pretty happy with Zombie Night Terror. It has pretty much everything you want in a $13 Lemmings type game. The controls are easy to figure out without a manual, great pixel animation (especially when the zombies get shot), ever increasing complexity and growing toolsets, and as of this writing, bug free fun."

Horror Night is a co-op horror game where you team up with others to survive against a relentless monster. Players work together to solve puzzles find hidden items and escape procedurally generated levels while being hunted. Each run feels different thanks to randomized layouts and item placements. Character customization adds a layer of personal flair with available cosmetics and skin options. The game thrives on tense teamwork and split second decisions. Asymmetric gameplay means one player takes on the role of the hunter while others focus on survival creating a dynamic push and pull. While the core loop is straightforward the procedural design ensures no two sessions play the same way. Released in early 2022 it has built a niche following among fans of cooperative horror challenges.
