Hot Potato Online is all about chucking explosive spuds at opponents while dodging your own fiery demise. Players take turns tossing a potato bomb into the arena aiming to tag enemies before it explodes. If the blast hits you or you pass it back after it's already been thrown you're out. Matches can be teams or free-for-all with up to four players locally or online. The controls are simple but the timing and positioning make for fast-paced chaos. What sets it apart is the map editor letting you tweak arenas with obstacles and power-ups. Though it launched in 2009 the game still has a small but active online community. Its goofy concept and tight multiplayer loops keep it replayable for quick sessions.
