About
You and a friend crew up in a boat, drink too much, and run aground on a tropical rock. Now you’re scraping by on a survival loop: yank fish from the waves using whatever’s handy, from bent hooks to shotguns. Each catch nets cash to upgrade your rig, but big money comes from hunting armored boss fish that roam the reefs. The twist? Your arsenal grows weirder the deeper you go. Play solo or team up for two-player co op, balancing combat and crafting as you battle the sea’s tougher tenants. The game leans into its absurdist hook with delightfully chaotic execution. Boss fights blend bullet sponge tactics and timing, while the upgrade tree ensures you’re always chasing the next ridiculous tool. my father - who taught me how to fish - died when we were 3 weeks into dev. i wrote the script for the most recent dlc during the worst weeks of my life ((so far)). game dev is hard at the best of times. much love to everyone out there currently going through the shit part of their development.
