Hungry Shark VR lets you play as a predator in an open ocean world. Choose from five shark species and swim through coral reefs deep sea trenches and shipwrecks. Hunt schools of fish scavenge for food and avoid bigger threats while managing hunger and oxygen. The controls let you tilt and swipe to steer and snap your jaws to bite. Each area has hidden items and obstacles that change the flow of your hunt. The game stood out for its responsive motion controls and varied prey ranging from jellyfish to submarines. Players mapped out shortcuts in the large environment which earned praise for exploration. But since Google shut down Daydream in 2022 the game no longer works. It held a 4.3 star rating on Play Store while available with many calling it one of the best VR shark experiences before its platform vanished.
