Identity V pits one player against four in a tense chase through gothic environments. One side hunts while the others work to complete tasks. Movement is deliberate with mechanics that favor careful positioning over speed. Roles shift between attacker and defender in each round creating a back and forth struggle. The map is filled with narrow paths and hidden areas that let either side gain the upper hand. The game supports cross platform play between mobile and PC letting friends team up easily. Matches are fast paced with each round lasting around ten minutes. Over 100 million players have joined since launch according to developer reports.
