Igor: Objective Uikokahonia is a 1994 point-and-click adventure where you follow a clumsy college student chasing love and chaos. Protagonist Igor spends more time stumbling into mysteries than wooing his crush Laura. After overhearing her plans to visit a tropical island, he scrambles to balance schoolwork, cash flow, and surveillance on his rival. The gameplay sticks to DOS-era 2D visuals with draggable inventory and context-sensitive action buttons. Puzzle logic mixes everyday objects with absurd scenarios, think biology exams and counterfeit money schemes, all while avoiding pixel-hunting pitfalls. This early Pendulo Studios title blends romantic comedy and pulpy intrigue with surprising polish for its time. Though overshadowed by the developer’s later narrative-driven hits, it shows early signs of their signature humor and character quirks. A small but vocal retro gaming community still praises its charm, citing it as a hidden gem for fans of classic adventures. Its DOS roots limit modern playability but add to its nostalgic appeal as a time capsule of 90s PC gaming.
Igor is a student at a typical university in the USA who is madly in love with fellow student Laura, although she does not know it. While spying on her he overhears her plans to travel to a paradise island named Uikokahonia. Igor's worst enemy Phillip, who is also after Laura, is also traveling there. Igor wants to join too to be closer to Laura and keep an eye on Phillip. But before he can embark on the trip he must take a biology exam, submit an end of semester essay and find the money for the ticket.
