Storyline

Ages ago, the Lagenans corrupted their world, causing a great rift that split the very planet itself. Fearing their own destruction, they created great portals powered by the blood of their gods, seeking to inhabit another nearby planet: Ilysia. Using their portals, the Lagenans entered Ilysia looking to establish a new home for their people where they could continue to practice their dark arts and thrive. However, they were not welcome. The many races of Ilysia pushed back against the invading force and a great war that claimed the lives of many across Va’Karuhm was waged. After many years of fighting, the Lagenans were pushed back to their world and their portals were destroyed. Though not all made it back... Many of the lesser folk; crafters, workers, and tradesmen were brought through to aid in the war effort and were left when the mages and armies of Lagena abandoned their fortresses in retreat. After 300 years, the barrier has been lifted and the people are finally free to explore past the borders of Va'Karuhm and discover the greater world of Ilysia and all that it has to offer. This is where players will begin.
