"As a whole, Inferno 2 was an exceptionally lackluster experience with hardly any highlights. For a twin-stick shooter RPG hybrid, I believe Radiangames perhaps should’ve made sure the level design and balance was more spot-on. For $4.99 and a roughly 4-6 hour experience, it is a fine enough purchase for fans of the genre, especially if played on co-op. However, if you are looking for something more exceptional, either wait for the game to go on sale or look elsewhere. For a sequel to a critically acclaimed title, I was woefully disappointed with the package delivered."

Inferno is a browser-based strategy game where you play a firefighter racing against time to extinguish flames. Each level forces you to manage a limited water supply while navigating burning environments. You prioritize targets, dodge spreading fires, and use tools to buy seconds. The challenge grows as obstacles block paths and flames encroach faster, demanding quick thinking and precise moves. The game’s simplicity hides its difficulty, community forums note it’s notoriously tough, with many players failing early levels. Its pixel-art style and tight controls keep things engaging despite the age. Over a decade old, it still draws praise for making every decision feel high-stakes. The 20+ levels offer escalating tests of patience and strategy, with no room for error.
