About

Interrogation Files: Port Landsend is a point-and-click adventure that swaps traditional gameplay for a detective’s desk job. You’ll comb through hours of grainy interrogation videos and crime scene photos, pausing and rewinding to spot contradictions in suspects’ stories. The town of Port Landsend reeks of secrets after four students died years prior, and the police never cracked the case. Your task is to dig through a clunky in-game database, cross-referencing physical evidence and body-language tells to narrow down the killer from five potential culprits. It’s a slow-burn puzzle game where the challenge lies in patience and attention to detail rather than action or combat. The game’s strength is its methodical approach to investigation. Every suspect’s testimony is layered with red herrings and subtle inconsistencies, forcing you to replay clips from different angles. While the FMV style and dated interface might feel niche, the payoff comes in piecing together the truth through observation alone. It’s a cerebral pick-your-own-clues mystery that leans into the tedium of real-world sleuthing. The lack of time pressure or branching choices makes it a calm but absorbing test of logic, with a focus on deduction over drama.

Storyline
