Two-player space combat with a twist. You control one of two colored ships patrolling twin solar systems, steering with a joystick and firing forward-facing lasers to destroy invaders. Each ship can respawn from planets matching your color, which shift allegiance when hit. Enemies target your ships first, then planets. Crash into a wrong-color world and both explode. Land on your home planets to hide, but watch as invaders turn planets against you. Score points by vaporizing foes, but beware, every laser blast shifts the battlefield. Planets act as both base and battlefield, creating shifting strategy in this 1979 arcade classic. The two-player mode lets ships clash directly while single-player challenges focus on efficiency or speed. The optional spectator mode lets you watch AI fleets wage war without human interference. Despite its age, the combination of ship management, planet politics, and direct combat feels surprisingly layered. A relic from early gaming that still showcases clever use of simple controls, especially remarkable for a system with a joystick that only moves in four directions.
