Irena: Genesis Metal Fury is a fast paced shooter that runs on everything from PC to an original Sega Mega Drive. You pilot the Rayden MG323 stealth fighter as Major Celina Pelinsky to stop Emperor Zerox. The story starts when your ship gets stuck in a magnetic field near planet Xellia. Your job is to push through the hostile army and destroy the source of that interference while protecting the mothership. It feels like a direct love letter to 90s arcade titles without needing modern frills or complex upgrades. The game runs smoothly on multiple platforms including Linux and Android which lets you play anywhere. Fans of classics like Thunder Force III or Contra Hard Corps will recognize the tight controls and heavy firefights immediately. White Ninja Studio kept the action focused so you spend less time managing menus and more time blasting enemies. There are no hidden mechanics to figure out here. Just aim, shoot, and keep moving forward to survive the endless waves of foes waiting on that hostile planet.

Storyline

In a distant world, an intergalactic ship carrying settlers to the planet Laderia II is suddenly trapped by a powerful magnetic field from the exoplanet Xellia, which until now was unknown. On board a small stealth fighter, the Rayden MG323, the Major Celina Pelinsky has mission to detect and destroy the source of this magnetic field while an energetic shield temporarily shields the mothership from external attack. Celina will have to use all her skills as a seasoned pilot to make her way to this hostile planet where she will have to fight against the terrible army of Emperor Zerox, a maleficent being with mysterious powers.
