You’re stuck in a loop of robotic enemies that won’t stop coming. Iron Onslaught tasks you with managing a base defense setup, balancing ammo production, weapon upgrades, and positioning to hold off waves of bots and mechs. Each enemy push mixes turrets and hulking machines with shifting abilities, forcing you to adapt tactics on the fly. Progression unlocks new tools but never lets you catch your breath, the threat just keeps scaling. The game’s grind-focused design leans into tight resource management and escalating tension. Community ratings on Steam sit at 78% positive, with players noting how late-game waves punish even minor missteps. A library of 32 distinct weapon blueprints ensures no two playthroughs feel quite the same, though some find the lack of multiplayer options limiting. Still, it nails the niche of survival strategy with minimal hand-holding.
The more enemies you kill, the more weapons you unlock, and the more enemies that'll spawn (do keep in mind that the bots regularly launch into the air or towards you, and the mechs occasionally fly). Don't Die If you die, you lose everything, so make sure to watch your surroundings, otherwise you may get surrounded. Save Your Progress When you exit to main menu, your progress is saved for next time, but if you die or start a new game, that progress is deleted.
