You wake up as Noctisse, a supreme villainess with purple hair and a massive chest in a world that looks like a rough sketch. This indie visual novel from Coffeedripstudios is a parody of Soul Union where you actually have no idea what the plot requires. Instead of following a strict script, you wander through choices while trying to figure out your role in this low-effort anime setting. The story picks up right after you fall asleep reading a light novel and ends up stuck inside it without any clear objectives or villainous goals. The humor comes from the sheer confusion of being cast as the bad guy when you have no idea how to play that part. Players often joke about the lack of direction since the game leans hard into the absurdity of the isekai trope. Community feedback highlights the funny writing and the self-aware take on typical genre expectations. It runs smoothly on PC, Linux, and Mac as a single-player experience. You get a quick laugh without needing to master complex mechanics or worry about making the wrong move in a high-stakes drama.
The last thing I remember was falling asleep sometime in the middle of the epilogue. And then waking up… All around me is the landscape of a low effort paint and sketch filter. Oh. I am savvy enough with anime related fandoms. When I run out of visual novels to play, I read light novels. I must have been isekai’ed into the game that I had just wasted my entire night reading. At least I didn’t die getting hit by Truck-kun? By the looks of this huge rack and impossibly long purple hair, I am in the role of supreme villainess, Noctisse.
