Jack & Kenne puts you in control of an alligator named Jack inside a living comic book. Your goal is simple because your boss needs this story done by morning. You must rush through pages to rescue Kenne the rabbit from Marcos the deer and his gang. The gameplay focuses on beat em up action where you punch and kick through various enemies as you flip from one panel to the next. It feels like playing inside a sketch that came to life right before your eyes. Del Player made this indie title with a tight structure that respects your time. Since it is single player only, the focus stays on clearing out Marcos henchmen without any distractions. The art style mimics rough comic sketches which gives every fight a distinct look compared to standard fighters. Players who like fast paced action without long cutscenes will find this straightforward approach refreshing. It delivers exactly what you expect from a rush job story without adding unnecessary complexity or filler content.

Storyline

An artist's boss calls her at night and tells her to create a comic aimed at teenagers and wants to see the comic in the morning at her desk or she will be fired from her job, so she sees that she doesn't have much time, draws an alligator called Jack, and writes a plot in a hurry, which will be Jack trying to save Kenne Hoop from the terrible Markos the deer, Jack will have to face all of Markos' henchmen to get his girlfriend Kenne back.
