About

Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius: Forever With Me is a 1996 shooter that brings the chaotic arcade action of its Super Famicom predecessor to PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and later the PlayStation Portable. Stone Heads polished the original with sharper visuals and expanded audio, making it a step up from the earlier release. The single-player mode charges you with blasting through waves of enemies, while the two-player option lets both participants take control at the same time instead of switching turns. This shift adds more chaotic fun, especially when both players are dodging and firing in tandem. Beyond the core gameplay, the port adds secret content to explore. A hidden cheat swaps out one track for a remixed version, and bonus stages offer extra challenges. Unlocking Dracula-kun and Kid Dracula gives the roster some spooky new faces. While the game hasn’t aged perfectly, fans of rhythm-based shooters might find it a quirky time capsule. Its simultaneous multiplayer and unlockables kept it fresh enough to see re-releases decades later.
