Jungle Hunt is a 1982 arcade adventure from Taito where you play as a jungle explorer trying to save a captured woman from a tribe of cannibals. The game’s side-scrolling levels task you with swinging between vines, dodging crocodiles in a river, and avoiding obstacles like rolling boulders. Timing and precision matter as you navigate each stage before lowering the trapped character to safety. Originally titled Jungle King, the game later saw home ports on systems like the Apple II, Atari 2600, and Commodore 64. The PC version by Sierra On-Line required specific IBM hardware to run, adding to its niche appeal.
