You play as Craig Dylan a survivalist stranded in the Cretaceous period armed with limited gear and a desperate need to live. The goal is simple survive waves of raptors Triceratops and T rexes by scavenging weapons upgrading defenses and picking weak points in dinosaur anatomy. Gameplay loops around tense survival mechanics, managing health ammo and shelter while fending off attacks in open areas or fortified positions. Boss fights force you to adapt tactics as giant creatures tear through environments creating dynamic chaos. The adrenaline burst system lets you temporarily slow time mid combat to line up critical shots a mechanic that adds depth to frantic encounters. Released in 2009 it runs on older consoles including PlayStation 2 and Wii which keeps the visuals lean but functional. While not graphically ambitious the focus on reactive dinosaur behavior and survival tension stands out among budget shooters of its era. Short campaigns and repetitive enemy patterns may wear thin but the core loop of scramble-to-live works for quick bursts of chaotic fun.
