Justin Wack and the Big Time Hack is a point-and-click adventure where a modern slacker gets stranded in the Stone Age after a botched time experiment. Now stuck in prehistoric limbo, Justin must navigate cave-dweller politics while his place in the present is taken by a hipster caveman who’s oddly at home with Wi-Fi and artisanal coffee. The game blends slapstick humor with a sci-fi chase, as mechanical enforcers hunt down rogue time travelers and Justin races through eras to fix the timeline. Puzzle-solving and quirky dialogue drive the story, with scenes that toggle between primitive tools and futuristic dystopias. The game’s charm comes from its absurd tone and mismatched characters. The caveman’s obsession with modern comforts, like Tinder dates and vinyl records, creates running gags that feel fresh and irreverent. While it clocks in shorter than most adventures, the brisk pacing keeps the laughs coming, and the Switch port makes it easy to dip in and out. Community feedback highlights the game’s creative worldbuilding and lighthearted approach to time-travel chaos, though some note the ending feels a bit rushed. Still, it’s a fun, offbeat romp with plenty of visual jokes and retro synth soundtrack vibes.
After swapping places with a caveman, Justin needs to back to his own time again. But the caveman-gone-hipster that took his place seems quite content in the modern world… The caveman might want to try out the local dating scene, maybe he’ll even run into Justin’s ex-girlfriend? Trying to get back to the present, Justin might first have to first pass through the future… Meanwhile, mechanical agents are looking to neutralize any unauthorized time travelers… With a future looking pretty grim, is there a way for our heroes to change the cause of history?
