Kabobber is a frenetic action game where you control Buvskies to stop mischievous Kabobbers from devouring a rainbow energy source. Navigate a grid-based level, jumping on enemies to eliminate them and earn more Buvskies. Up to nine can be active at once, with reserves ready if they get defeated. Enemies grow more aggressive as waves progress, demanding sharp timing. The main objective is blocking Princess Buvsky from reaching the level’s end before you. Single player and multiplayer modes let you challenge friends or AI. Created by Rex Bradford, known for Star Wars ports, Kabobber began as an abandoned prototype later polished and released as a ROM in 2000. Its appeal lies in straightforward mechanics paired with escalating difficulty and endearing creature designs.
