You control Godzilla in a side scrolling beat 'em up that sends the nuclear titan marching rightward across Japan. Each stage is a gauntlet of military vehicles and kaiju foes to stomp or smash. The action never lets up as you bash through waves of enemies while dodging attacks. Boss fights against classic Godzilla rivals like Mothra and King Ghidorah require timing jumps and button mashing to break their defenses. A Japan exclusive title from 1993, this portable brawler leans into the simplicity of Game Boy's hardware. Players appreciate the direct controls and the roster of 13 kaiju bosses drawn from Toho's films. While the graphics are blocky by modern standards, the pure button mashing fun has earned it a cult following. Short stages let you play in bursts between classes or commutes, though the lack of difficulty scaling might frustrate some.
"Hundreds of monsters have arisen in the land of Japan and it is up to Godzilla to fend them off. The player must maneuver the nuclear giant through the stages and wage a cataclysmic war. Stamping out the pesky human machines that sought to block the player's path, Godzilla must fight the endless hordes of demons. Fighting one after another, almost in succession. Can the player master against the heavy weight of the monster world? Or will Godzilla loss his title as the King Of The Monsters???"
