About

Kalah is a turn-based strategy puzzle that revolves around capturing stones and outmaneuvering your opponent. Each player controls six small pits filled with stones and one larger Kalah pit. On your turn you distribute stones from a chosen pit to the others moving counterclockwise. When the final stone lands in your Kalah you get another turn. The goal is to collect more than half of all stones in your Kalah before the game ends. Capturing happens when your last stone lands in an empty pit on your side leaving your opponent’s opposite pit untouched. The game’s strength lies in its simple rules and deep strategic possibilities. Every move affects future options creating a balance between short-term gains and long-term control. Players must decide when to focus on scoring points or setting up traps. With no random elements success depends entirely on planning and adaptability. Released in 1997 it remains a sharp test of logic and foresight.
