Katana Soul is a fast paced action game where you wield a katana against hordes of demons in a perilous version of feudal Japan. Developed by SEEP it's all about quick reflexes and precise timing as you slash through enemies in a world packed with traps and lurking threats. You play as Kan a warrior tasked with breaking a curse tied to a mysterious tengu mask. The catch: there are no save points or second chances. One misstep means starting over. The game's relentless difficulty and lack of checkpoints make it a test of skill. Released in 2019 it's since gained a following for its old school arcade vibe. While short on story depth the tense combat and punishing challenges keep players coming back. With no hand holding it's a straightforward battle where every swing of the sword matters. Shorter than most but sharp and unforgiving.
