Kemono Heroes is a side-scrolling action game where you play as one of four animal-themed ninjas fighting to break a curse trapping a forest. The gameplay blends fast-paced shooting with quick melee attacks, letting you dash, slash, and switch between weapons as you battle through enemies. Play solo or team up with up to three friends locally via shared controllers. Each character has distinct abilities and tools to upgrade, adding depth to both solo and co-op runs. The levels mix platforming challenges with boss fights as you advance toward a moonlit showdown. The game stands out for its bright, hand-drawn visuals inspired by retro arcade titles and Japanese folklore. The co-op design feels flexible whether playing alone or with others, and the combat stays tight without leaning on grindy systems. With release planned for early 2025, it’s coming to nearly every major console and PC. Storyline

Tsukigami, the Moon God, has petrified the inhabitants of the forest, and only the four Animal Ninja Masters can break the spell and restore their home! Harness each character's swift moves, arsenal of tools, and unique powers to fight through hordes of evil spirit minions to reach Mt. Fuji and confront the Moon God.
