Khronos-X is a twin-stick shooter where you fight waves of enemies by shooting, dodging, and managing a ticking clock. Your goal is to survive as long as possible by collecting shards scattered across each level. Every few shards reveals an arrow pointing to a time extension pickup. The twist is slowing time mid-combat to line up shots or avoid damage, though the clock never stops counting down. What sets it apart is the constant tension between clearing enemies and hunting for pickups. The time-manipulation mechanic feels rewarding when used to turn the tide of chaotic firefights. With no multiplayer or story to distract, it focuses purely on high-score chasing.
