You play as Jeremiah, a guy trying to get home after work until a wrong turn at a creepy ritual kicks off a night of nonstop panic. Something nasty is after you and it doesn't stop. The game mixes stealth and frantic running as you dodge pursuit through crummy apartments, empty streets, and other mundane yet nightmare-inducing spaces. You can't fight back directly so you hide break in through windows or sprint until your lungs burn. The tension comes from figuring out safe paths while the monster closes in. The real hook is how it turns normal settings into pressure-cooker horror. Every room feels like a maze with limited escape routes and the clock ticking down. Early reviews note the game's ability to keep you glued to the screen during chase sequences which make up most of the runtime. It's short but the 3-4 hour runtime packs enough relentless scares to stick around. The art style leans gritty with lots of shadows and flickering lights adding to the unease.
