Kilari: Become a Star lets you live the life of a teenage idol training for stardom. On the Nintendo DS, you handle daily chores and performances like gardening, baking, shopping for outfits, and practicing dance moves. Each activity feels like a simplified mini-game with basic controls and repetitive goals. The story follows a familiar underdog arc as you balance school, hobbies, and rising fame. Based on a 2000s shoujo manga, the game leans into its source material’s charm but offers little beyond routine tasks. Konami released it in 2007 as a niche title for handheld fans. While the art style and themes might appeal to those nostalgic for the original series, the gameplay remains light and straightforward. Single-player only, with no competitive elements or deep progression systems.
Become 14 year old idol Kilari as she goes around the city completing various tasks and mini games such as planting flowers, eating cake, taking dancing lessons and buying clothes.
