KimiSuta: Kimi to Study is a teacher-centric visual novel where you play Suga Natsuno, a new instructor tasked with guiding a rowdy class of disinterested students. The game follows branching storylines as you navigate classroom chaos, personal struggles, and relationships with students. Choices impact outcomes like graduation rates and character bonds. The gameplay leans on dialogue and decision-making, with multiple routes leading to varied endings based on your approach to teaching and connections. The game stands out for its mix of slice-of-life humor and romantic subplots, focusing on the challenge of balancing discipline with care. While the PS2 original has dated visuals, its character dynamics and light-hearted tone have kept it a niche favorite among visual novel fans. Released in 2006, it remains a straightforward example of the boys’ love genre with a focus on school-life storytelling.
Our protagonist, Suga Natsuno, by one way or another becomes teacher in charge of Class 3-Z. Natsuno dreamt of being like the hot-blooded teachers seen in TV dramas, but the class is full of "irregular" students. The director said that if he clears the ‘condition’ given to him, he’ll properly hire him but…said condition is to pretty much to have all the students of Class 3-Z graduate. Will he ever succeed considering most of the students don’t exactly care about that subject?
