Kindred Fates brings you an open world monster battling RPG available on PC and Nintendo Switch. You travel through a vast landscape to catch, train, and fight creatures while making choices that shape the narrative. The developers from Skymill Studios built this title to grow the genre rather than just repeat old formulas. Your decisions in battle and dialogue create a web of consequences you must live with as the story unfolds. What stands out is the mature storytelling approach where antagonists have sympathetic causes and moral lines are often blurred. This project aims to reflect how fans grew up alongside these games by offering deeper character development. The game does not shy away from difficult questions or messy outcomes from your actions. It feels like a direct response to what long time players have wanted without relying on the standard tropes of past titles.

Storyline

One of the things we are most passionate about is delivering a thought provoking and compelling story. Many of us who grew up with monster battle games hoped that they would mature as we did. We aim to create a game with thought-provoking storytelling, antagonists with a sympathetic cause, compelling character development, morally ambiguous decisions, and living with the consequences of your actions.
