King of Clubs is a goofy take on mini-golf that swaps serene greens for chaotic courses filled with obstacles and absurd characters. You’ll face off against kooky opponents like Bubba the Elvis impersonator using over-the-top gear such as explosive balls and bendy clubs. The goal is simple: sink the ball while laughing at the game’s slapstick physics and over-the-top animations. Each of the 96 holes introduces new tricks and traps, from windmills to moving platforms, making every shot a potential comedy of errors. The split-screen multiplayer lets two players battle on the same couch, adding to the mayhem. While the humor leans heavily into cartoonish antics, the short levels and easy-to-pick-up gameplay make it a quick distraction. Though its 2007 release date shows in the visuals, the game’s silliness and local co-op keep it memorable for parties or casual sessions. Multiple platform availability at launch helped it reach a broad audience, though it’s best suited for those who enjoy lighthearted competition with a side of absurdity.
