Kingdom of Arcadia is a metroidvania with pixel-perfect charm and a straightforward progression loop. You play as Sam a kid trapped inside a retro-style game world split into five distinct areas. Each level holds optional missions scattered enemies and tough bosses to beat. As you explore you collect upgrades buy weapons and enhance abilities to tackle tougher challenges. The layout encourages backtracking with new tools letting you access previously locked zones. The game leans heavily into its 8-bit visuals and nostalgic presentation without overcomplicating its core loop. While the story hinges on a dad’s old arcade machine it’s the level design and gear customization that stick out. Storyline

Sam is just a normal kid who likes video games. Likewise, his father has a passion for old games, but when Sam tries out his dad’s arcade machine, he’s suddenly pulled inside, where he finds himself starring in his own pixelated adventure. But can he get back home? Help Sam remove the spell cast on Arcadia and return safely before it’s too late!
