Knights College is a visual novel where dialogue and actions are driven by a card-collecting system. You play as Argo, a fisherman thrust into a prestigious knight-training academy. Every interaction happens through selecting cards that represent choices, relationships, or story paths. As you gather new cards, they unlock conversations, shift character dynamics, and open branching scenarios. The dormitory-based setting lets you manage daily life while navigating social ties and personal growth. The game stands out for its creative decision-making framework, which ties progression to a deck-building approach rather than traditional dialogue trees. Players track likability and narrative direction through card combinations, offering replayability as different choices lead to distinct outcomes. With a focus on character-driven storytelling and light simulation elements, it’s a niche take on the genre that blends strategy with slice-of-life charm.
One day, Argo, a young man living a leisurely life in a fishing village in the countryside, receives a letter of recommendation from the Knights College of his dreams. Not knowing why he was recommended, he enrolls and spends his days with his fellow knight candidates. In KnightsCollege, all conversations and movements are done through card-based selection. Each time you get a new card, it unlocks a conversation, opens up a different route, or increases your likability with the character.
