Knights of Valour 3 is a fast paced beat em up that leans into arcade roots. Up to four players team up to carve through hordes of enemies using a mix of swords magic and environmental attacks. The game emphasizes co operative play with each character offering distinct abilities. Progress and collected items are stored on IC cards which let players return to their saved builds. Combat is straightforward but requires timing and positioning to survive tougher waves. The game launched in August 2011 in select Asian markets. While the IC card system was a practical addition for arcade settings the real draw is the chaotic four player co op. Fans of old school brawler mechanics might appreciate the direct action but the lack of online modes limits its reach. Still the local multiplayer makes it a solid pick for groups looking to team up and hack through enemies.
