About

You play as Kommissar Kugelblitz, a no-nonsense detective in a sun-drenched New Orleans, hunting for a vanished diamond merchant’s daughter. The game unfolds through point-and-click exploration, nudging you to examine clues, question locals, and piece together fragmented stories. Puzzles lean on observation over brute force, you’ll track Kim’s trail through jazz clubs and back alleys, sifting through red herrings and cryptic hints. The interface feels dated but functional, with a focus on dialogue trees and inventory tinkering to unlock progress. The setting shines brightest here. Terzio leans into New Orleans’ vibe, packing scenes with gumshoe tropes and Southern eccentricities. While the 2000 release date shows in the visuals, the mystery’s structure holds up, players often note the satisfaction of connecting loose threads. Some early reviews mention repetitive NPC animations, but the straightforward case work and lack of modern bloat make it a brisk pick for fans of old-school sleuthing.
