Landit Bandit is a quirky helicopter adventure where you pilot a homemade copter through 20 levels of chaotic physics challenges. Play solo or with a friend in split-screen co-op to complete campaigns, or switch to one of six competitive duel modes. Controls are simple but mastering the craft’s wild handling, like using a makeshift ninjarope to slash seconds off your time, takes practice. The game balances humor and precision as you navigate obstacles with tools cobbled from palm trees and driftwood. The retro aesthetic and inventive level design stand out, blending absurdity with tight gameplay. Split-screen co-op remains a rare treat on PS3, offering local chaos without online hassle. While largely overlooked at release, its creative mechanics and charm have earned a small but dedicated following. The story of two misfits fleeing a tiny island in a jury-rigged Da Vinci helicopter isn’t deep, but it adds to the game’s offbeat personality.
Meet Marley and Lander, two unexpected companions heading for the big city in something that the FAA would have banned around the time if Columbus. This all starts one morning as the grumpy art thief Lander is washed up on Marleys tiny tropical island. Lander has in his possession a briefcase of Leonardo DaVincis sketches and is anxious to get this treasure to a Mr Art Steeler in the Big City. Through clever use of palm trees and driftwood, as well as good old-fashion rastafari engineering, Marley is able to construct a helicopter from davincis works. This is, if not the perfect way, at least ONE way to get Lander back to the city. The only things missing; a map, a few safety parachutes and any sense of direction....
