About

Larax & Zaco is a DOS-era platformer that swaps health pickups for demolition permits. Instead of just jumping and collecting, you plant bombs to collapse structures and clear paths. Four bomb types let you choose between precise takedowns or chaotic overkills. The split-screen mode lets two players tackle levels together or compete, with controls that feel responsive even by modern standards. Levels are packed with destructible geometry that crumbles satisfyingly when hit right. This 1996 title stands out for its forward thinking approach to co-op gameplay. The split-screen supports both cooperative and competitive modes without lag or performance hiccups. With Italian and English language options, it shows early European developer flair. While not a commercial giant, it holds a 7.2/10 on retro gaming forums for its inventive mechanics. The bomb placement puzzles and destructible environments feel surprisingly modern for its age. Short levels keep the action tight, balancing platforming skill with explosive strategy.
