You’re the last survivor aboard a haunted airliner overrun by the undead. Last Flight tasks you with fending off hordes of ghouls using a mix of guns, pipes, and whatever improvised weapons you can find. The cel-shaded visuals lean into over the top cartoonish violence, with exaggerated gore and humor undercutting the chaos. Wii motion controls handle shooting and melee attacks, adding a layer of physicality to the frenetic combat. Each section of the plane becomes a new battlefield as you progress from the cabin to the cockpit, with limited save points keeping tension high. Developed by Bloober Team around the same time as The Conduit 2, the game blends fast paced action with a self aware sense of absurdity. The comically violent encounters and quirky enemy designs stand out, though the three hour runtime and repetitive enemy types led to mixed reception. Fans of over the top survival shooter mechanics might appreciate the frenetic energy, even if the polish feels rushed.
