Navigate a glowing tunnel of shifting colors while avoiding collisions in this 1983 Intellivision title. After surviving the passage test your musical memory by replicating sequences of notes using the hand controller’s keypad. The faster you match the patterns the more points you earn before returning to the tunnel for another run. Each cycle increases the difficulty blending reflexes and recall in equal measure. Created by Russ Lieblich known for his work at Mattel Electronics and programmed with help from River Raid’s Peter Kaminski the game combines simple mechanics with challenging execution. Though unreleased at launch it found a home decades later on the Intellivision Rocks! CD. Fans of retro arcade challenges and early music-based gameplay might appreciate its straightforward yet addictive design. With a focus on quick thinking and steady hands it’s a forgotten gem that highlights the creative experiments of early 80s game design.
