Lemmings 3D is a puzzle game that puts you in charge of guiding a group of lemmings through 3D environments to reach an exit. Developed by Clockwork Games and released in 1995 it’s the first entry in the series to use three dimensional graphics. You assign the creatures skills like digging or building to navigate obstacles. The game plays much like the original Lemmings titles but adds depth with a 3D perspective available on PlayStation DOS and Sega Saturn. What stands out is its early adoption of 3D which was a fresh take at the time. Despite being over 25 years old it remains a curiosity for fans of the franchise. All versions are nearly identical except for minor performance tweaks. It’s a niche title that shows how classic puzzle mechanics can adapt to new visuals without losing their core challenge.
