Light Dude is an action-puzzle game where moving makes the world vanish. Each level reveals itself only when you pause, forcing you to memorize layouts and plan risky leaps through darkness. Enemies stalk your path and giant bosses block exits, demanding precision and speed. You start each stage with a set number of "lights", pauses that refresh your vision. Waste them and you’re blind, relying on muscle memory to survive. Hidden collectibles add another layer, hiding in tricky spots that test your reflexes and patience. The game’s tension comes from its core mechanic: every step costs visibility. Developer Ramy drew from a real-life mishap walking blind into his bedframe, turning that frustration into design. Without tutorial hand-holding, you’re immediately thrown into shadowy stages where hesitation means failure. Storyline

Once you move, your vision gets limited, and only memory and reflexes can save you. How fast are your reactions in the dark? MOVE IN BIG, RISKY STEPS You only have a limited number of lights each level. Move and stop too often, and you’ll run out of lights and be in total darkness for the rest of the stage! GATHER PERCIOUS CRYSTALS & GEMS Each crystal and gem comes with its own unique challenge. Only the most skilled adventurers can uncover every lost treasure hidden in the darkness! BATTLE EPIC BOSS FIGHTS Dr. Fog will do anything to keep the world in darkness. Only sharp reflexes, precise movement, and fearless determination will let you defeat his shadowy allies and ultimately face him! About the developer & how this game came to life Hi I’m Ramy! Light Dude is my first ever video game on Steam! This whole game was born from suffering… I was walking back from the bathroom in the dark, confident I knew the layout of my own room... until my bed frame reminded me I didn’t... My toe lost 99% of its HP, but at least I unlocked a new game idea!
