The gameplay mirrors the original’s tense, wordless exploration but with simplified visuals and controls tailored to older systems. The game leans into its retro roots with grainy pixel art and chiptune sounds that feel authentic to the C64 era. Developer Søren Trautner Madsen managed to preserve the core challenge of the source material while working within strict hardware limits.
